This must be the best way to kick off the weekend! Entering Muriel’s Kitchen I feel like I have come home to my mum’s kitchen to enjoy a hearty cooked breakfast.
This place has an open warm atmosphere and being inspired by the owner’s grandmother – Muriel – they’re definitely all about authentic home cooked style cuisine.
Muriel’s Kitchen uses sustainable sourced fish and meat, and fresh locally sourced British ingredients such as Clarence Court Old Cotswold legbar eggs that are so delicate yet dense with a rich creamy yolk.
I can recommend the Champion’s Breakfast – crushed avocado with fresh chilli on farmhouse toasted bread with poached eggs and smoked salmon. Accompanied with their Vitamin Hug juice with orange, apple, carrot, celery and ginger which is absolutely nutritious-delicious.
The coffee is good too - so you will get everything you need to start off the weekend in the best possible manner.
